EGM

EGM is an SME based in Nantes and Sophia-Antipolis (France) which creates, produces and provides scalable and interoperable solutions, to collect and exchange information connecting the physical world to the digital world, in order to allow private and public actors to optimize and improve their services.

EGM supports its clients thanks to its permanent innovation approach and its operational know-how of the data life cycle, from acquisition to data processing, including edge processing, IoT networks, semantics and data science.

EGM's proposal mainly covers:

• Supporting its customers through all the stages a data project;
• A sectoral approach with a specific offer for certain business areas such as agriculture, environment, smart territories, water and energy.

These activities are supported by 2 products which are the pillars of the EGM offer :

• The EdgeSpot, which is a versatile IoT card, aimed to facilitate the quick deployment of sensors, networks and actuators in almost any environment;
• The Stellio NGSI-LD context broker, a core component for the management of contextual data.

With its 12 years of experience, EGM occupies a strong place in international R&D activities, particularly within the European projects Horizon 2020 and FIWARE. EGM is active in standardization groups such as ETSI and oneM2M. It recently published a new standardisation report related to the handling of Digital Twins with NGSI-LD.
